Job Summary
HVAC General Superintendent overseeing field operations across multiple HVAC/mechanical construction projects. Leads field teams, coordinates manpower, equipment, and materials, monitors schedules and budgets, enforces OSHA safety standards, conducts site inspections, and ensures installations meet design specifications and company quality standards. Roles include mentoring Superintendents/Foremen, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and QA/QC teams, driving productivity, and optimizing labor costs while maintaining project goals and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical construction with progressive field leadership experience
- Proven experience managing multiple large-scale commercial or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, ductwork, and mechanical installations
- Deep understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and field coordination
- OSHA certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
