Job Summary
General Field Service Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, and general construction systems in retail, banking, and healthcare facilities; performs preventive maintenance, laminate countertop repair/installation, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and customer-focused service; requires strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to work independently or in teams; travel within the San Jose area; HS diploma/GED required with relevant technical training and 2-5 years of experience; certifications in related trades are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in plumbing, electrical, construction, or related field preferred
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, general construction, and handyman work; laminate countertop installation/repair experience a plus
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general construction; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics; proficient in handyman tasks and laminate countertop work
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in plumbing, electrical, or construction trades are a plus
- Driving License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record per company policy
- Background Screening: Must pass a satisfactory background screening
