Job Summary
Conduct independent diagnostics, repair, and replace HVAC equipment components and wiring for categories I, II, and III systems, including centrifugal chillers and magnetic drive compressors. Perform warranty service inspections, startup verifications, and lead retrofit projects for units up to 700 tonnes while directing Level I and II technicians. Execute site safety evaluations, wear PPE, and maintain clean workspaces in compliance with OSHA policies. Provide professional client communication, deliver usage training, and identify minor repair opportunities for sales support. Log performance data, manage inventory, and generate service reports using mobile devices. Requires a valid driver's license, gas permit, and EPA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Grade d'associé ou l'équivalent d'une école technique et professionnelle avec certificat en chauffage, ventilation et climatisation
- Cinq (5) ans d'expérience connexe dans un poste aux responsabilités croissantes
- Sept (7) ans d'expérience connexe
- Combinaison équivalente d'études et d'expérience
- Permis de conduire valide
- Permis de gaz G 1 requis
- Certification de technicien universel approuvée par l'EPA
- D'autres permis requis au besoin
