HVAC Foreman

Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and oversee HVAC work to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with contract documents. Supervise crews for efficient, productive, and safe jobsite operations while performing hands-on installation tasks as needed. Assign daily tasks, manage manpower, and coordinate with the HVAC Supervisor to meet milestones. Serve as the primary on-site contact, interpreting blueprints and specifications to guide installation of ductwork, units, and piping. Enforce OSHA policies, conduct routine inspections, and ensure proper material staging and housekeeping. Train and mentor Helpers and Technicians while collaborating with other foremen to resolve issues and implement best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical construction
- Journeyman-level HVAC experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising and mentoring crews
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree in HVAC & Refrigeration Technology
- Additional certifications
- OSHA 10-hour training
- OSHA 30-hour training
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including ladders, lifts, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions
