HVAC Field Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee front-line employees by hiring, training, organizing schedules, and conducting performance evaluations while handling discipline and termination per company policy. Collaborate with managers to coordinate departmental activities, analyze production data, inspect products for quality defects, and correct process inefficiencies. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws by developing procedures for a safe work environment and executing departmental budgets. Requires knowledge of Residential Electrical & AC Operations, NEC codes, and blueprint reading. Full-time role involving prolonged standing, walking, and lifting 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Well-rounded knowledge of Residential Electrical & AC Operations
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Must know how to use Desktop computer, Laptop and Tablets
- Strong knowledge of (NEC) National Electric and Local Codes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies
- Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Associate degree in related field, or equivalent industry work experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- At least three years of supervisory experience
- Customer Service Experience dealing with customer escalated situations
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
- Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- At least three years of supervisory experience highly preferred
