Job Summary
Conduct MQ inspections on completed installations, correcting airflow, refrigerant levels, and workmanship issues on the spot. Perform ride-alongs and job site QC checks to evaluate technician performance, then coach and mentor installers with direct feedback to drive immediate improvement. Analyze callback and return-visit trends to identify root causes, while serving as the technical authority on complex troubleshooting and high-stakes job sites. Assess technician competency during hiring and onboarding, and run warranty calls as business needs require. This role offers up to eight weeks of paid field training in Phoenix, followed by an hourly rate with overtime and commission, plus a company vehicle and full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC field experience
- 6+ years of hands-on HVAC field experience
- Deep technical knowledge — you can diagnose, repair, and coach simultaneously
- Proficiency with Measure Quick (MQ) inspections and field correction procedures
- Exceptional coaching and communication skills
- Computer literate: MS Office, email, and field service tools
- EPA Section 608 Certification — Type II or Universal
- Clean driving record for the last two years
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass background and drug screen upon offer
