Job Summary

Conduct installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment at customer locations. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and startup activities while diagnosing basic mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues. Document service activities, parts usage, and customer interactions accurately. Communicate service status and findings to customers, assist with operational questions, and coordinate with technical support teams to resolve complex problems. Operate service vehicles and tools in compliance with safety standards, adhering to all protocols for this safety-sensitive position. Travel frequently to commercial, industrial, and construction sites within assigned areas.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2+ years of experience in technical service, maintenance, HVAC, industrial equipment repair, or a related field
  • EPA Certification or HVAC-related certifications
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to use fine and gross motor skills for repairs, diagnostics, and equipment installation
  • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods while traveling between customer locations
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated work areas, and varying environmental conditions
  • Ability to work in customer sites, commercial facilities, industrial operations, and construction locations
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, dust, noise, and mechanical equipment
  • Frequent travel required to customer locations within assigned service areas
  • Ability to perform work primarily at customer sites, commercial facilities, industrial operations, and construction locations
  • Regular exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, dust, noise, and mechanical equipment
  • Frequent travel required to customer locations within assigned service areas
  • Exposure to energized electrical systems, refrigeration systems, moving mechanical components, and industrial environments
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

  • Adherence to all safety protocols to ensure a safe and secure work environment
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve routine technical issues and make sound decisions in the field
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and support personnel
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and controls
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose routine equipment issues
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage service schedules effectively
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and service reporting
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
