Job Summary
HVAC Facilities Technician role in an industrial facility focusing on preventive maintenance and service of base-building environmental systems. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing centrifugal chillers, variable frequency drives, pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, and variable air volume boxes; operate and monitor a building automation system, log maintenance, and communicate with on-site engineers. Tasks include daily walk-throughs, documentation, reading mechanical/electrical/control diagrams, coordinating with general contractors and subcontractors, and participating in weekly on-call rotations with overtime as needed. Requires High School diploma or GED, EPA/CFC certification, valid driver’s license, background/drug screening, ability to lift 30 lbs, and ability to climb ladders up to 24 ft. Shift hours may change based on business needs.
