Job Summary
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors while becoming proficient with all product offerings, estimating, and e-commerce software tools. Create quotes, respond to inbound queries, and prepare detailed estimates and purchase orders. Review mechanical drawings for incoming quote requests and understand the scope of HVAC work to bid. Communicate with the engineering department on new and current projects and prepare job take offs. Requires knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical contracting, bidding software, and building construction, with a minimum of five years' experience in HVAC estimating. Must be commutable to Staten Island.

- Knowledge of commercial HVAC / Mechanical Contracting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Knowledge of bidding software
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to prioritize work assignments
- Ability to develop budgets and time lines
- Multi-tasker and Organized
- Commutable to Staten Island
- Great customer service and a team attitude
- Attention to detail an asset
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in HVAC estimating
- Works well on own or in a team environment
- Self-starter with strong work ethic
- Knowledgeable in building and construction
