HVAC Estimator

Prepare plans, specs, and design-build style estimates for mechanical systems, assessing needs and developing HVAC replacement or upgrade proposals. Account for labor, material, equipment, subcontractors, and direct costs while reviewing plans to determine scope and taking off materials for quantity surveys. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, submit proposals, and finalize internal setups. Communicate with General Contractors regarding delivery schedules and job issues, gauge construction timelines for accurate labor costs, and create submittal packages. Maintain job folders and cut sheets as projects progress, purchasing materials on approved jobs. Develop sales strategies for key accounts and provide input on estimating program efficiency.
