Job Summary
Drive company vans and trucks to deliver HVAC equipment, parts, and materials to designated locations across Texas. Plan efficient routes, load and unload cargo, verify orders, and obtain customer signatures while maintaining a clean vehicle. Perform routine maintenance checks, report issues, and assist with warehouse restocking as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, possess experience with 18' box trucks or 24' stake beds, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy HVAC equipment and materials
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing delivery orders and documentation
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices
- Punctuality and reliability
- Must have experience driving 18' box truck and or 24' stake bed
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) frequently
- Basic computer skills
