Job Summary
Lead a crew of one to two HVAC installers in residential projects, coordinating workflow, assigning tasks, and ensuring timelines meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and Connecticut codes. Provide day-to-day leadership, on-the-job training, and guidance while inspecting installations for quality and safety compliance. Enforce safety protocols, conduct briefings, and mitigate hazards. Communicate with customers to understand requirements, address inquiries, and ensure satisfaction. Perform additional tasks as required. Based in customer settings and warehouse environments, this role involves working in attics, basements, and rooftops, lifting up to 60 pounds, and traveling via personal or company vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Connecticut S-2 Journeyperson License
- EPA Certification
- Minimum five (5) years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Demonstrated experience installing air-source heat pumps, ductless mini-split systems, hybrid heating systems, boilers, furnaces, central air conditioning systems, standard and heat pump water heaters
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to construction work
- Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to enter crawl spaces
- Must be able to stand on roofs
- Must be able to move up and down stairs safely
- Must be able to work in attics
