Job Summary
The Commercial HVAC Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC Building Automation and controls systems, requiring extensive knowledge of programming and troubleshooting various control systems such as Honeywell WEBS and JCI Facility Explorer. The role demands analytical problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. Candidates should have substantial experience in the HVAC trade, preferably including automated system controls, and the ability to read technical specifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the HVAC trade
- Minimum 2 years automated system controls-related experience or equivalent formal training
- Knowledge of test and diagnostic equipment and instruments
- Ability to read and analyze building blueprints and HVAC systems diagrams and specifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
Desired Qualifications
- Tridium Niagara N4 certification
