Job Summary
HVAC Controls Technician role based in Seattle, WA. Responsibilities include programming control system databases per project specs, calibrating and verifying control systems to meet sequences and commissioning standards, assisting in developing graphical user interfaces for projects, training customers on operating/maintaining temperature control systems, updating as-built documentation and submitting redlined drafts to applications engineers, and identifying potential sales opportunities to promote service contracts during start-up and commissioning. Required experience includes at least 1 year in DDC/BAS control systems, a valid driver's license, deep knowledge of HVAC/building automation/electrical systems/energy management/fire alarms, proficiency with Distech, KMC, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, and/or Tridium/Honeywell, and Pneumatic controls experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of DDC/BAS control system experience
- Valid driver's license
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, fire alarms, and related fields
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting systems such as Distech, KMC, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, and/or Tridium/Honeywell
- Pneumatic controls experience is preferred
