Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial digital control systems and Building Automation Systems onsite. Perform remote initial diagnostics, preventative maintenance, commissioning, and programming for control service requests. Assist with building surveys, verify control sequences meet specifications, and provide training to customer operations personnel. Complete work orders, review accuracy with customers, and collaborate with sales, application engineers, and project managers. Participate in on-call rotation and performance evaluations for other technicians. Requires 5+ years of HVAC controls experience, Niagara N4/AX certification, and a valid driver's license. Based in Toronto, ON, onsite with an hourly rate of $44.20–$69.10.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's Degree or technical school
- HVAC certification
- 5+ years of related HVAC controls experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
- Rotational Emergency Call Support availability as required
- Previous experience in mentoring less experienced technicians
- Experience with any common integration protocols such as: BACnet MST / IP, LON, Modbus TCP / RTU, Ethernet OIP, MQTT, or SQL
Desired Qualifications
- Niagara N4 and/or Niagara AX Certification
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification
- OSHA 10 certification
- Current first aid / CPR card
