Job Summary
Performs system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems. Responds to basic warranty calls. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service related items. Loads system-level controller software. Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (sensors, actuators, etc) and completes all required commissioning documentation. Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment. Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation. Provides quotes and upsell opportunities. Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. Provides recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field
- at least 3 years of industry experience
- experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry
- PC experience required and the ability to program HVAC related software
- leadership skills to support activities of Mechanics on non-complex Building Automation equipment
