Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment at the contractor level, reading blueprints and technical manuals to complete repairs. Develop reports or instruction manuals as needed. Provide on-call support for second, third, and weekend shifts while performing other plant operating maintenance duties. Requires licensed or certified HVACR maintenance and repair skills, five years of commercial HVACR field experience, and a valid Kansas driver's license with a clear driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or certified in HVACR maintenance and repair
- Possesses the ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment at contractor level
- Able to read blueprints, technical manuals, and interpret information to complete repairs
- Ability to develop reports or instruction manuals
- Provides on-call as needed to support 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts
- Performs other Plant Operating Maintenance duties as necessary and directed
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of licensed refrigeration and air conditioning trade school program
- Completion of a job training program through an apprenticeship or journeyman program
- Five years experience in the commercial HVACR field
- Licensed or certification in HVAC
- Valid Kansas driver's license
