Job Summary
HVAC Controls Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and preventive maintenance of HVAC control systems across mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage components. Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, provide frontline technical support to customers, and document commissioning and repairs. Load field/controller software, calibrate systems with testing equipment, communicate progress to customers, and contribute to system improvements. Maintain safety standards and participate in ongoing training to ensure high-quality service and reliability for building systems across data centers, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and higher education environments.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational School program or an associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience in servicing electrical, electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
