HVAC Controls/BAS Service Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize Building Automation Systems and integrated smart building technologies for commercial, healthcare, and mission-critical facilities. Diagnose HVAC, mechanical, and electrical issues; perform preventative maintenance, controller replacements, and system expansions. Validate sequences of operation, complete functional performance testing, and assist with commissioning and retro-commissioning activities. Utilize remote monitoring tools to identify issues proactively and configure alarming, trending, and analytics dashboards. Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned accounts, develop service agreements, and mentor junior technicians. Coordinate with project managers and sales teams while providing recommendations for system improvements and lifecycle planning.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of BAS service experience
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience reading control drawings and sequences of operation
- Experience commissioning and servicing DDC systems
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background screening and drug testing
- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Niagara N4 Certification
- Manufacturer certifications
- HVAC Technician certification
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Associate degree or technical training in HVAC, Controls, Electronics, or related field
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, Distech Controls, Delta Controls, Siemens Desigo, Honeywell WEBs, Alerton, Reliable Controls, KMC Controls, Carrier i-Vu, ABB, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure
