Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, service, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues by reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Complete detailed service reports, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate equipment conditions to customers. Ensure compliance with safety policies and industry regulations while maintaining company vehicles and tools. Participate in an on-call rotation as needed. This role requires EPA Certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work on rooftops. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing RTUs, VAV systems, air handlers, split systems, and commercial HVAC controls
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and work on rooftops
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and mechanical environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- NATE Certification
- Manufacturer training certifications
- Experience with chillers, boilers, or VRF systems
