Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including electrical, refrigeration, and control components. Perform preventive maintenance on commercial equipment and identify system issues to recommend appropriate solutions. Communicate repair findings professionally with customers and complete accurate service documentation while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Provide technical support and knowledge sharing with other technicians. This stable, year-round role offers mentorship opportunities for developing staff within a family-owned Sacramento firm serving the community for over 60 years.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid California Driver's License and must be insurable under our auto policy
Desired Qualifications
- 7+ years commercial HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong commercial HVAC troubleshooting skills
- Advanced electrical and refrigeration knowledge
- Experience with rooftop units, package units, split systems, and related equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
