Job Summary
Produce accurate commercial HVAC estimates in a high-paced environment. Responsibilities include reviewing plans/specs/bid requests, performing sheet metal and duct take-offs, interpreting equipment schedules, obtaining and comparing vendor quotes, applying HVAC design principles, preparing customer proposals, and ensuring timely bid follow-ups. The role requires reading drawings and blueprints, related estimating experience (preferably with Quotesoft), and strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with management and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of related experience in mechanical estimating
- Experience with Quotesoft
- Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe, and Bluebeam
- CAD experience is a plus
