Job Summary
HVAC Commercial Estimator sought to produce accurate estimates in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include reviewing plans/specs/bid requests, performing sheet metal and duct takeoffs, interpreting equipment schedules, obtaining and comparing vendor quotes, applying HVAC design principles, preparing customer proposals, and following up on bids. Must read drawings/blueprints and project specs, maintain vendor relationships, and use Quotesoft for takeoffs; CAD experience is a plus. Requires attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills; in-person work located in Henderson, NV.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of related experience
- Mechanical estimating background
- Experience with Quotesoft preferred
- Experience with CAD a plus
- Ability to read and understand drawings/blueprints/project specs
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam
- In-person work location in Henderson, NV
