HVAC Chiller Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine and preventative maintenance, major repairs, and retrofits on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers and boilers. Conduct boiler inspections and PM teardowns per Connecticut code guidelines while supporting equipment such as compressors, cooling towers, and pumps. Maintain excellent record keeping including refrigeration and operation logs, and follow EPA guidelines for refrigerant recovery and component replacement. Adhere to all safety policies, occupational regulations, and Section 608 of the Clean Air Act. Work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as demand requires.
Required Qualifications
- Connecticut D2 or S2 license or Refrigeration license from an accredited institution
- 5 years' minimum experience on Commercial HVAC systems
- EPA certified
- Must have a clean driving record
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires
Desired Qualifications
- Boiler and steam experience a plus
