Job Summary
HVAC Branch Service Manager oversees day-to-day service business processes and branch operations to meet customer satisfaction and financial objectives. Manages service staff performance, coordinates with Truck Based Service Managers and Customer Service Representatives, forecasts and optimizes service workflows, supervises account management and invoicing activities, and coaches the branch service team on best practices and system applications. The role focuses on implementing delivery standards for sustainable, profitable growth and maintaining effective service processes and communication across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ service industry experience managing service operations and/or service dispatch/scheduling
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external clients
- Ability to handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence
- Ability to prioritize work based on financial impact to goals
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principles
- Ability to represent Johnson Controls professionally to various stakeholders
- Ability to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks/goals
