Job Summary
Boiler/HVAC Technician (Mountainview Area) based in Edson, Drayton Valley or Rocky Mountain House, AB, responsible for mechanical maintenance of boilers and HVAC equipment in gas compression and measurement facilities. Key duties include performing inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers, glycol boilers, air conditioning units, heating systems and line heaters; completing QA documentation and safety analyses; troubleshooting equipment problems; supervising third-party contractors; coaching and training other personnel; leading safe and efficient completion of low to medium complexity projects with strong work-management and contractor oversight; generating and entering work orders in SAP; and providing emergency support as required. Travel up to 60% may be required; relocation support available domestically. Requires Gas Fitter – Class A certification, 2 years of technical training, and valid driver’s license; preferred Journeyman certification and 5 years of experience with boilers/HVAC in industrial facilities; ability to read technical drawings and documents; SAP experience; safety leadership and compliance focus.
Required Qualifications
