Job Summary
Start and commission new environmental-control systems, diagnose, and repair equipment at customer locations using knowledge of electronics, airflow, and refrigeration theory. Represent the company as the direct customer contact by identifying issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing on-site installation and repairs with team leaders. Forecast potential problems to ensure precise project execution while maintaining the highest safety standards and securing company assets. Maintain current product knowledge for direct digital control systems and remain flexible to work overtime, including occasional overnight stays, as business requires.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months
- No major or frequent traffic violations including DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
Desired Qualifications
- Technical School or formal training
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software
- Working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
- Previous experience with DDC controls system
- EPA
