Job Summary
The HVAC Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Managers in the HVAC commercial business by managing project-related paperwork and facilitating communication among project teams. Responsibilities include maintaining project timelines, assisting in site visits, and executing administrative support tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a project administrator within the commercial construction industry
- Understanding of general contracting and the life cycle of a project
- Ability to read plans, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented approach
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Desired Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in Controls, Low Voltage Trades, Fire alarms, CCTV, HVAC, or Electrical in the commercial construction industry
- Proficiency with Smartsheet or project management software
