Job Summary
Operate facility systems, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and conduct routine services on mechanical and other systems under the supervision of a Journeyperson. Complete approximately 9,000 hours of training combining in-school and on-the-job instruction while working within company policy and trade certification limits. Maintain a valid G2 or G3 gas license and pursue 313A certification, adhering to the structured apprenticeship program requirements. This full-time, regular position offers a salary range as per the collective agreement for candidates registered on the ORAC Ready to Hire List.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some positions may require post-secondary education in a related field, and/or specific certifications/licenses
- Some positions may require a valid driver's license, and clean driver's abstract
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening
- Registered under the ORAC Ready to Hire List
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an HVAC service department
- G2 Gas License
- 313D license
- Willingness to work towards 313A
- Registered 313A or 313D Apprentice
- G3 or G2 Gas License
