Job Summary
Operate facility systems and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems under Journeyperson supervision. Execute routine services while adhering to company policy and trade certification limits. Complete approximately 9,000 hours of combined in-school and on-the-job training within the ORAC Ready to Hire List program. This role supports BGIS Integrated Technical Services' growth across Ontario's largest HVAC company, offering a full-time position with a salary determined by the collective agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an HVAC service department
- G2 Gas License
- 313D license
- Willingness to work towards 313A
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening
- Registered under the ORAC Ready to Hire List
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Specific certifications/licenses (beyond minimums)
