Job Summary
Complete diagnostic, repair and maintenance of HVAC equipment for home service. A key customer interface and revenue-generator for the business. Responsibilities include delivering high customer service excellence, sustaining customer satisfaction in Enercare Home Services Operations, completing all diagnostic and repair work efficiently to company standards, advising customers on repair or replacement options, promoting Enercare Home Services products and services, ensuring tools/equipment are safe and in good working order, keeping the vehicle clean and stocked, obtaining supervisor signoff for apprentice training, meeting all apprentice training requirements, and arranging EI during MTCU training.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Gas Technician 2 or Gas Technician 1 license
- Must have CFC Permit or capable of obtaining permit (ozone depletion)
- Must have a valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract maintained
- Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting as per the Physical Demands Analysis
- Must have the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment related to servicing HVAC equipment
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Proven commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Result oriented, achieving high levels of individual and team performance
