Job Summary
The HVAC and Controls Service Technician will maintain, service, and commission HVAC mechanical and controls systems across NB locations (Moncton-Bathurst corridor and Greater Fredericton area). Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing refrigeration, ventilation, electrical, electronic, and digital control systems, performing start-ups and commissioning, installing/retrofitting HVAC mechanical components, providing system improvement recommendations, preparing accurate work orders and estimates, and delivering high-quality customer service while building client relationships. Requires post-secondary HVAC education with 1–3 years in a service-focused role, strong HVAC/controls knowledge, and excellent communications; multilingual ability is a plus. This is a full-time permanent role with benefits, located on-site in NB (Moncton/Bathurst area and Fredericton area).
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
- 1–3 years of experience in a service-focused role within HVAC/related industry
- Strong understanding of HVAC and controls systems
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build client relationships
- Effective communication and collaboration with on-site trades
- Ability to mentor and support entry-level technicians
