Job Summary
Manage an assigned HVAC territory by partnering with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, Service Center Managers, and Technicians to meet sales goals through prospecting and cultivating existing customer relationships. Compile prospective customer lists from installed equipment databases and industry sources, then travel daily to solicit orders, build relationships, and follow up on concerns. Prepare cost estimates, verify quotes, and finalize sales contracts for new work and project continuations. Conduct surveys on competitive products to inform product alterations or new developments, while identifying tools like energy rebates and ROI calculations to assist sales efforts. Generate reports on pipeline activity and business plans to drive strategic growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- HVAC certification
- 5 years HVAC field service experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-4+ years of related sales experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to travel territory daily
- Demonstrated ability to influence the market

- Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software
- Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts
