Job Summary

Hands-on HV Process Technician responsible for assembling and building products to meet customer requirements, debugging and maintaining manufacturing process equipment, and performing TPM-driven maintenance. Roles include operating and monitoring automated equipment, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues, using HMIs to identify alarms and clear line stoppages, creating and submitting maintenance work orders in the CMMS, supporting PFMEA reviews, assistingControls Engineers and Maintenance with repairs, supporting continuous improvement and process documentation, and participating in cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and safety in a high-voltage/battery manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Associates degree or college studies in a related field (mechanical or electrical engineering, etc.) or prior experience in high voltage/electrical component handling/battery manufacturing is preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience required
  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs and Electrical Control systems
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and prints
  • Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001
  • Able to work in a flexible team environment
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Word/Excel/SharePoint is preferred
  • Must be available to work various shift schedules; may need to work overtime
  • Ability to travel domestically as required

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience
  • Associates degree or college studies in a related field (mechanical or electrical engineering, etc.) or prior experience in high voltage/electrical component handling/battery manufacturing is preferred
  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs and Electrical Control systems
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and prints
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
  • Flexible to work various shift schedules; travel domestically as required
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with CMMS, data entry into multiple platforms (e.g., Plex)
  • Experience in PFMEA and process documentation reviews
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) involvement
  • Safety compliance and ergonomic guidelines adherence
  • Team collaboration with cross-functional groups
  • Ability to assist and train others on manufacturing tasks and equipment use
