Job Summary
Carry out cable preparation, installation, terminations, and joints at 11kV, 33kV, and above on renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects. Support electricians and other trades on larger installations, including earthing and associated site activities, while taking responsibility as Installation Lead on relevant projects. Assist SAPs and Commissioning Engineers with cable testing, commissioning, and energisation activities during project delivery. Mentor less experienced staff and apprentices, helping develop their skills while maintaining high standards of workmanship and tidiness. Full UK driving licence, Right to Work in the UK, and flexibility to travel and stay away regularly for project work.
Required Qualifications
- JIB approved ECS card
- experience working safely on construction sites
- Strong practical experience in cable preparation, installation, containment, earthing and associated HV site works
- Experience of carrying out cable terminations / joints at 33kV within the electrical power, commercial or industrial sector
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Jointer

- Able to plan ahead
