Job Summary
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems, with precision and efficiency. Read schematics, technical manuals, and design documents to install or troubleshoot complex equipment. Perform routine maintenance, conduct plumbing repairs, and utilize specialized tools like ohmmeters and welding gear for field service calls. Operate a company vehicle safely for on-site tasks and maintain detailed service records and shift reports. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with property maintenance and support installation projects involving HVAC design specifications. Requires valid driver's license, 5+ years of experience, and bi-lingual English/Spanish skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bi - Lingual - English / Spanish
- 5+ Years of experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar construction or mechanical maintenance role
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, and refrigeration systems
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing practices, and electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret blueprints accurately
- Valid driver's license
- experience operating company vehicles
- Experience with R-454 refrigerant
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment, welding work, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) certifications
- Experience working in field service environments across property maintenance or appliance repair
