Job Summary
Patrol property, corridors, mechanical rooms, and event halls while monitoring cameras, controlling crowd flow, and screening vehicles at the loading dock. Lock facility doors, direct guests and trucks, and operate the command center with constant radio communication. Respond to emergencies using CPR and AED skills, document all activities in daily logs, and maintain surveillance systems. Work flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/equivalent
- Valid drivers' license or willingness and ability to obtain for required equipment operation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English language
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work and function both independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform duties efficiently under emergency situations
- Ability to make firm decisions during emergency
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and address the most critical and pressing demands first
- Ability to clearly instruct others on processes and follow-up
- Demonstrated ability to operate motorized vehicles
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, which could include overtime, evenings/nights, holidays, weekends, or emergency call-in services
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months security experience
- OPOTA Certification
- CPR, First Aid, AED
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Surveillance (CCTV) Skills
