Job Summary
Join SCHEELS as a part-time Hunting Sales Associate and leverage your passion for sports, fitness, and the outdoors. Responsibilities include greeting customers, growing personal sales, promoting the Scheels Visa Rewards card, assisting in buying decisions, and maintaining professionalism on the sales floor. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to adapt and learn in a dynamic environment. A high school diploma or equivalent and some sales experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Customer Service
- Ability to perform basic math; compute rate, ratio and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Senior communication, organization, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to demonstrate product usage within their shop and retrieve product from heights of greater than 6 ft
- Genuine interest and action in helping others before yourself
- Eager to listen, learn, apply knowledge and accept critical feedback
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math, grammar, punctuation and spelling
