Job Summary
Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions, identifying their needs, and making product recommendations based on this analysis. Promote various company programs and promotions while maintaining visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovery, restocking, and floor upkeep. Respond to and resolve customer issues using good judgment and logic within the job scope. Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies related to the outdoor lifestyle. Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years' experience in a sales or service environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to evaluate customers' needs and make recommendations based on needs
- Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer's expectations
- Ability to use good judgment and logic
- Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle
- Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's specific products
