Job Summary
Conduct sales and cashier training, manage department operations, and ensure merchandise accuracy through stock receiving and display. Effectively promote Turner's Outdoorsman products and events while releasing customer firearms and performing audit record checks. Source, place, and follow up on orders, including loading and unloading trucks with up to 50 pounds of weight. Provide excellent customer service and salesmanship, teaching these skills to the team by leading by example. Work at least 45 hours per week with occasional travel for events and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate (or GED)
- College graduate or some college
- At least 2 years of prior retail and sales experience in a lead position
- Knowledge about Hunting, Fishing/Tackle, & Shooting Sports
- Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Customer service experience
- Certificate of Eligibility
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to use both hands when handling a firearm
- Ability to use a computer proficiently
- Ability to grasp instruction to new software programs
- Ability to stand, sit, bend and lift throughout the course of a scheduled shift
- Occasional travel (approximately 20% of the time)
