Job Summary
Perform all general sanitation cleaning duties of kitchen facilities, equipment, china, glass and silver. Wash chinaware, glassware, and equipment; put away cleaned items; maintain cleanliness of the dish-room; organize dish-room area; clean up spills and safety hazards; empty garbage; mop floors; clean outside dock and common areas; stock and clean the employee cafeteria and banquet kitchen; operate and maintain the dish machine; complete opening/closing checklists; act as an ambassador of the resort by speaking positively and fostering teamwork to ensure guest satisfaction. Must have current food handlers certification and be able to work varying schedules; knowledge of HACCP procedures and safe handling of cleaning chemicals is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/equivalent or related work experience
- Must maintain current food handler’s certification
- Knowledge of HACCP procedures and proper food sanitation methods
- Ability to work with a variety of chemicals
