Job Summary
The role involves teaching an existing Humanities curriculum to 11-12 year-olds, serving as a homeroom teacher, and supporting children's social-emotional and cognitive development. Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching humanities (language arts and history/social studies) in 6th grade
- At least 3-5 years teaching experience
- Master’s degree required
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with regard to adolescent development
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Homeroom advisory experience highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills, including time management
- Demonstrated classroom management skills
Desired Qualifications

- Experience writing narrative reports about student progress
