Job Summary
Conduct client intake and assessments to identify immediate and long-term recovery needs for disaster-impacted households in Snohomish County. Perform outreach to affected individuals and businesses, then develop individualized recovery plans in collaboration with clients. Maintain accurate client files, manage database entries for case tracking, and prepare reports on disaster recovery services and outcomes. Coordinate referrals to additional recovery resources and collaborate with local agencies, nonprofit organizations, and government partners. Participate in disaster recovery meetings and community planning sessions while supporting communication efforts with disaster-impacted communities. This 9-month temporary disaster relief position requires 100% onsite work at VOAWW and a "ZAG" mindset.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work with individuals experiencing trauma and stress
- Proficiency with computer applications and database systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- 100% onsite availability
- Background check completion
