Human Trafficking Coordinator

Job Summary
Oversee and conduct outreach in designated human trafficking hot spots, engaging potential victims, performing assessments, and referring non-victims to the Navigator Program. Maintain client and staff confidentiality while collecting assessment data and processing information into the Give Hope Database. Act as a liaison between the program, community partners, and agencies including law enforcement and elected officials. Develop and maintain relationships with funding sources and community resources, presenting matters requiring decisions to the Regional IMPACT Director. Plan and present community forums three times per year, attend required training sessions, and maintain accurate statistical reporting and budgetary oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience in a human services field
- Experience working with trauma informed care
- Experience working with victims of human trafficking
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Organization skills
- Functioning knowledge of computer software, specifically Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel and Word
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet agency standards
- Occasionally required to smell
- Stoop
- Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel
- Regularly required to reach
- Regularly required to stand
- Regularly required to walk
- Regularly required to sit
- Regularly required to talk
- Regularly required to hear
- Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less
- Ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while remain fixed on a given point
- Regularly required to lift and move up to 10 lbs
