Job Summary
Research Assistant II at Reality Labs Research supporting human subject studies. Responsibilities include staging, setting up, and managing lab equipment and spaces for experiments; conducting experiments with informed consent, handling confidential data, data annotation, and creating basic reports; conducting literature reviews; assisting with recruiting and scheduling experiment participants; and contributing to experimental design with feedback. Must meet strong communication and interpersonal skills and have a Bachelor’s in a related field. 3 years of experience required, onsite in Redmond, WA. Must be able to wear a precision wearable data-collection device on the hand and forearm for extended periods and fit within specified hand size measurements. Desirable: experience analyzing data, designing research protocols, collecting user interaction data, and experience with IMUs, optical sensing, or EMG. Top hard requirement emphasizes hand size and device wearability. 1+ years in a research environment involving human subjects preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in psychology, cognitive science, computer science, engineering, or closely-related research field preferred
