Human Services Planner I

Job Summary
Coordinate with local entities including Emergency Management, Sheriff's Department, EMS, and School System on preparedness activities for biological, chemical, radiological, or natural events. Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans and exercises in coordination with regional and state partners. Manage surveillance and emergency response efforts across multiple jurisdictions. Complete a State Application PD-107. Requires a four-year degree in public service administration, psychology, sociology, social work, or a human service programmatic field, or equivalent experience. Maximum 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- four-year degree in public service administration, psychology, sociology, or social work or a human service programmatic field, preferably with coursework in human service planning
- graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of administrative or consultative experience in a human service program
- equivalent combination of education and/or experience
