Human Resources Talent Specialist

Job Summary
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, screening, interviewing, and offer preparation. Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and deliver an exceptional candidate experience while administering pre-employment assessments, background checks, and drug screenings. Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation activities, assist with college recruiting initiatives, and represent Drees Homes at career fairs and campus events. Maintain employee data within the HRIS, conduct exit interviews, and generate reports to support performance reviews and compliance processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 2-5 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on recruiting and talent acquisition
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and recruitment processes
- Experience supporting multiple locations and partnering with a variety of business leaders
- HRIS experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Desired Qualifications
- UKG experience
- Applicant Tracking System experience; iCIMS experience is a plus
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus
