Job Summary
Coordinate interviews and lead corrective action investigations while ensuring compliance with business processes and corporate policies. Manage employee investigations, facilitate meetings with leadership, and oversee salary reviews, performance management, and disability leave processes. Support healthy living activities, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employee assistance programs through regular interaction and administration of procedures. Handle a variety of employee and leadership questions while maintaining safety standards and identifying hazards. Requires a Bachelor's degree and three years of HR experience; based in DeKalb, IL with up to 5% domestic travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university
- Three (3) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Must be able to work independently with little oversight
- Strong judgement & problem solving skills
- Ability to resolve employee issues and elevate when appropriate
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
- All US-based 3M full time employees will need to sign an employee agreement as a condition of employment with 3M
