Job Summary
Coordinate hiring needs by posting job requisitions, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from submitting offer letters to facilitating background checks and drug tests. Oversee new hire benefits communication, verify benefit bills, and ensure compliance with vendor contracts and federal laws. Assist with policy formulation, maintain sensitive documents, and coordinate orientation sessions for new employees. This in-person role in Aberdeen, NC requires an Associate degree, two years of HR experience, and the ability to work in both office and outdoor construction environments.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Must be able to work in an indoor office environment and an active outdoor construction site environment
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders and stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to dirt or dust
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment most of the day
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally
- Must be able to work for long periods of time in front of a computer
