Job Summary
As a Human Resources Specialist, support a variety of HR programs and services including employee relations, onboarding, talent acquisition support, HRIS data management, training, and compliance. Serve as primary HR contact for assigned departments, conduct employee relations investigations, coordinate pre-employment screenings, facilitate onboarding, partner with leaders on hiring processes and workforce planning, deliver training, maintain HR records and generate HR metrics, and assist employees with benefits and policies while upholding PCI’s values of Perseverance, Opportunity, Accountability, Respect, Culture, and Honesty. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, data accuracy, process improvements, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. Essential competencies include communication, relationship-building, confidentiality, prioritization, adaptability, problem-solving, and customer service. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- SHRM CP certification required or obtain certification within one year of commencing employment
- Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification required or successfully obtain within the first 90 days of employment
- PowerTalk Certification required or obtain within one year of commencing employment (other certifications may be accepted on a case-by-case basis)
- Ability to work odd and irregular hours, as needed
- Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check
- Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events
- Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully
